Employment Type: Full Time (50 hours per week) M-F: 7am-4:30pm, Saturday 7am-12pm
Position Overview:
C&C Marine and Repair is searching for a motivated Maintenance Supervisor. This position’s daily responsibilities are directing a crew of mechanics and electricians, purchasing parts/equipment, vendor relations, overseeing & improving Limble CMMS, ensuring daily repairs and preventive maintenance are completed efficiently so production is always continuing. This role is responsible for over 500 assets, building maintenance, and general yard maintenance. Required to be in the office/out the office as needed depending on day-to-day work.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities (included, but not limited to):
- Advising repair/preventative maintenance of various heavy equipment such as tractors, generators, diesel/electric air compressors, forklifts, telehandlers, cranes, cherry-pickers, skid steers, man lifts, welding machines, dry docks, Messer plasma tables etc.
- General maintenance/repairs of buildings, lighting, plumbing, etc.
- Familiarity with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems/schematics
- Use & improve Limble CMMS daily such as adjusting preventative maintenance tasks, creating Work Orders, delegating tasks, data/info entry, parts entry, etc.
- Assess data from Limble to draw conclusions about Lifecycle cost, downtime, MTBF, MTTR, labor costs, parts cost, total operating cost, etc. for over 500 assets and advise the company on future plans for said assets
- Process all paperwork for the department and submitting paperwork to the front office
- Direct the Maintenance department & personnel to improve day-to-day operations in terms of in-house labor cost, equipment costs, material wastefulness, procurement, etc.
- 5+ years of experience troubleshooting heavy equipment and electrical/hydraulic equipment
- Have a great understanding of electrical, pneumatic, & hydraulic systems, as well as reading schematics and diagrams
- Must not be afraid of heights
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and/or crawl under and around equipment
- Must have good communication skills, verbally and written;
Spanish speaking is a plus - Must be proficient in using a computer such as Excel, emails, ordering parts, etc.
