A leading heavy construction company in Iowa is seeking a skilled Field Mechanic to perform inspections, maintenance, and repair of various heavy equipment in the field. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems, and possess effective communication skills. A valid Class B CDL is preferred and the company is willing to assist in obtaining it after hire.
This role requires the ability to work under various environmental conditions and keep accurate logs of work performed.
