Empire Truck Sales, LLC is proud to be one of the largest Freightliner and Western Star Heavy Truck Dealerships in the Southeast. We’re opening a brand-new, state-of-the-art dealership in St. Rose, Louisiana
, and we’re looking for an experienced Service Technician/Diesel Mechanic who’s a self-starter, quick learner, and ready to take their career to the next level.
Important: This role will start at our Slidell, LA, location and transfer to St. Rose after you complete our in-house DTNA training.
If you have experience working on heavy trucks, equipment, rental or leasing fleets, automobiles, forklifts, generators, motorcycles, or similar industries—and you have your own tools, retain what you learn, and turn that knowledge into production—we can put you on a better career path!
What We’re Looking For- Proven experience repairing and maintaining diesel engines, heavy trucks, or similar equipment
- Freightliner, Detroit, or Cummins experience is a plus
- Required tools for a diesel tech/mechanic role
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office & diagnostic software)
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Valid driver’s license with clean MVR (Class A CDL preferred)
- Ability to work a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends
- Excellent pay plan
