We are seeking a NCCER or NCCCO certified Crane Operator for a position in Belle Rose, LA. This position operates a crane to move objects, components and material. Non-exempt role;
Reports to the Foreman;
Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.

• NCCER or NCCCO certification required
• High school or equivalent
• Preferably one (1) to two (2) years of experience in specified skill
• Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the company Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
• Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Reads and signs off on JSA; operates overhead crane from a cab; receives verbal communication from employees where location of crane is needed to move materials throughout accessible areas; stays awake, alert and is aware of surroundings; uses hand levers to control functions of the crane; performs daily inspection of the crane; reports any unsatisfactory findings to the Foreman; reads and interprets load charts;

understands hand signals for communicating with employees in the work area; maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times; perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
