Job Title: Lineman A (MUST HAVE ELECTRICAL EXPERIENCE & CLASS A CDL)

United Trades of America is seeking an experienced Lineman A to install, repair, and maintain overhead electrical power lines and auxiliary equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work with minimal supervision, climb poles, and handle work on energized lines. This position requires a Class A CDL
, and candidates with NCCO crane certification are preferred, though the company will provide training for those without it. The ability to swim and work at heights is a must for this role.
- Install and Maintain Overhead Lines:
Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of overhead electrical power lines and related equipment. - Energized Line Work:
Safely perform work on energized lines in accordance with safety protocols. - Pole Climbing:
Climb poles as needed to perform installation and repair work. - Minimal Supervision:
Work independently and with minimal supervision to complete tasks. - Equipment Operation:
Operate auxiliary equipment as needed, and crane operation if certified.
- Class A CDL required.
- NCCO crane certification preferred (company will pay for training if not certified).
- Must be able to climb poles and work at heights.
- Ability to swim is required for this position.
- Proven experience working on energized lines and performing line maintenance.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety practices.
- Crane Certification (NCCO) will result in a signing bonus if already certified.
