Summary
Responsible for the troubleshooting,ូច repair, and maintenance of equipment used within the pipe fabrication shop.
Responsibilities- Repairs and maintains diesel engines used to power machines, such as construction machinery, generators, forklifts, off‑road vehicles and cranes, using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, computer diagnostics, and machine tools.
- Diagnoses trouble, troubleshoots engines, and examines parts for defects and excessive wear.
- Reconditions and replaces parts, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
- May weld and cut parts, using arc welding and flame cutting equipment.
- Observes and complies with all company safety regulations and industry standards. Performs other duties as required.
3–5 years of experience. Applicable trade school or technician classification with knowledge of forklifts, engines baha cranes. Must possess a good understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, welding and fabrication, and electronically controlled engines. Candidate must be self‑motivated, safety‑oriented, and able to work with limited supervision in the shop and in the field.
