We are currently seeking a Certified Crane Operator to join our dynamic team at one of our industrial maintenance facilities in Plaquemine, LA
. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse industrial projects while operating state‑of‑the‑art equipment in a safe, well‑supported environment.

Responsibilities

The operator should be certified and have the

  • Certification and ability to operate the following equipment, when required:
  • Carry deck
  • 15‑ton hydraulic crane
  • 18‑ton hydraulic crane
  • 35‑ton hydraulic crane
  • 50‑ton hydraulic crane
  • 65‑ton hydraulic crane
  • 75‑ton hydraulic crane
  • Telehander
    - Extended Boom Forklift
  • Read and interpret load charts.
  • Operate and monitor industrial machinery and equipment to facilitate the manufacturing process.
  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery, identifying any malfunctions or irregularities.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment maintenance, and process adjustments.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Continuously monitor environmental conditions and practices, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proven experience operating various crane types listed above.
  • Familiarity with operating and maintaining various types of machinery.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow operational procedures accurately.
  • Effective communication skills to work within a team and relay important information.
  • Physical fitness to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
