Electric Motor Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Electric Motor Technician to assist in the repair and maintenance of electromechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will work hands‑on with mechanical components, ensuring high‑quality repairs through disassembly, troubleshooting, inspection, reassembly, and final testing.
No prior electric motor shop experience is required—we provide on‑the‑job training and weekly classroom instruction to ensure success in the role.

This position follows a 4-days on / 4-days off shift schedule and is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and a team‑oriented environment.

• Disassemble electromechanical equipment for inspection and repair.
• Perform initial testing, troubleshooting, and mechanical inspections to assess equipment condition.
• Reassemble and conduct final quality control (QC) and testing before returning equipment to customers.
• Operate or learn to operate warehouse forklifts and overhead cranes
• Follow safety procedures and company protocols while handling equipment
• Work effectively as part of a high‑performance team.

• Basic literacy skills (ability to read and write legibly).
• Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hand tools
• Ability to work on your feet all day and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Dependable—able to consistently report to work on time.
• Ability to follow directions and adhere to safety standards
• Must be able to pass a drug and physical test.

• Previous experience in electric motor repair, heavy equipment repair, industrial maintenance, diesel mechanics, or similar fields is a plus
