Fidelighty is a lighting distributor helping businesses and contractors reduce energy costs through LED lighting upgrades. We work with commercial customers and contractors to identify opportunities for lighting retrofits, including projects that qualify for utility rebate programs.

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Territory Sales Representative to focus on generating and developing lighting retrofit opportunities in Iowa that qualify for local utility rebate programs. In this role, you will identify businesses that may qualify for energy rebate programs, connect with decision makers, and help guide them through the process of upgrading their lighting systems. You will prospect businesses, introduce rebate opportunities, provide project quotes, and manage opportunities from initial outreach through closing.

This is a commission-based role suited for someone who is comfortable with outbound prospecting and motivated by performance-based earnings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect businesses in Iowa that may qualify for utility lighting rebate programs
  • Conduct outbound calls, email outreach and in-person visits to business owners, facility managers, and property managers
  • Explain available rebate programs and potential energy savings
  • Identify lighting retrofit opportunities for commercial buildings
  • Follow up consistently with prospects and decision makers
  • Track opportunities and follow-ups in CRM
  • Work with the team to help move projects through the rebate and purchasing process
Qualifications
  • Experience in B2B sales or outbound prospecting
  • Comfortable with cold calling and relationship building
  • Strong communication skills and persistence in follow-up
  • Organized and able to manage multiple opportunities
  • Interest in energy efficiency or commercial lighting upgrades is a plus
  • Experience with construction, facilities, or commercial building sales is helpful but not required
  • Must reside in the state of Iowa
