Overview

Sales Representative – Patient Handling – As a Sales Representative at Stryker, you will promote and sell Acute Care products with a focus on Patient Handling solutions to healthcare providers. You’ll work with a range of products, including bed frames, stretchers, and transport chairs. Your role involves building and maintaining strong customer relationships, addressing inquiries, negotiating pricing, and managing orders. Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory shifts to position Stryker’s products effectively in the marketplace.

You’ll have opportunities to exceed sales targets, monitor your performance, and collaborate with marketing and support teams to drive business growth and success.

• Continue experience in sales or clinical setting.
• Promote and sell Stryker Patient Handling products to meet customers’ needs.
• Become a Patient Handling expert by working with surgeons, nurses, and hospital administrators.
• Focus on customer satisfaction by solving problems through a consultative approach and providing highly responsive, unsurpassed customer service.
• Strive for cost reduction and commit to on-time, complete, and error-free shipments.
• Display experience with reports, budget, customer service, and project management.
• Have basic knowledge of market research, new product introduction, Profit and Loss (P&L) management, and field testing.

Required:

• High school diploma and 5+ years of professional experience.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• A valid driver’s license in the state of residence and a good driving record is required.
• May be required to move, set up and demonstrate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds; reach, push, or pull as needed to fulfill job accountabilities.
• Prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling may be required.
• Coordination of eye, hand, and foot movement with the ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands including visual and auditory discrimination, memory, and reading ability.
• May handle various materials including fabric, Velcro, zippers, and product components made of rubber, metals, and coated products.
