Opportunity

This position will be part of a sales team focused on the psychiatry space responsible for the performance of a long‑acting injectable therapy for schizophrenia as well as promoting our existing Psychiatry products in the New Orleans, LA area. The Sales Specialist delivers results by working in a compliant and ethical manner, aligning resources to meet organizational objectives, and upholding Teva’s culture and values in all interactions.

How

You’ll Spend Your Day
  • Achieve all sales performance goals and objectives for geographical assignment
  • Demonstrate a collaborative sales approach and coordinate efforts between sales leadership, other Teva sales teams, market access, sales operations, and training.
  • Develop effective business plans to meet and exceed territory‑level sales goals, selling in different care settings and identifying key business opportunities.
  • Build rapport and relationships by interacting effectively with employees and external contacts (HCP and office staff) at all levels.
  • Provideèra healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing and in‑servicing of products to current and potential customers.
  • Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to appropriately promote products and provide patient education.
  • Maintain a call average as outlined in the sales plan, defined as face‑to‑face interactions with top target customers.
  • Apply a range of traditional and non‑traditional problem‑solving techniques to think through and solve issues creatively to improve performance and company effectiveness.
  • Adhere to all Teva’s compliance policies and guidelines.
  • Territory boundaries are subject to change based on business need.
Your Experience and Qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Along with a results‑oriented mindset, self‑assurance, and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Pharmaceutical sales experienceпониед; experience in psychiatric therapeutic areas strongly preferred.
  • Record of successfully achieving sales goals and building effective customer relationships.
  • Experience successfully launching products in the psychiatric space across multiple settings of care.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
  • Ability to interact with customers in live and virtual environments and proficiency with technology.
  • Understanding of reimbursement coverage and pull‑through strategies, experience in CMHC, specialty pharmacy, private practice.
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing preferred; proven written and verbal communication regimen.
  • Experience calling on community mental health centers (CMHC) is a plus.
  • Ability to travel as required, including overnight and/or weekend travel.
  • Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
  • Candidate must be able to successfully pass background, motor, and drug screening记录.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
Level of the Role
  • Sales Specialist – 1 year Pharmaceutical Sales Experience OR 2 years B2B Sales Experience Required.
  • Professional Sales Specialist – 3 years Pharmaceutical Sales Experience Required.
  • Sr КП Sales validating – 5 years Pharma Sales Experience required.
  • Exec Sales Specialist – 7 years pharma sales experience required.
Compensation Data

The annual starting salary for this position is between $88,000 and $160,000. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
