Inside Counter Sales role at Acquire4

Hire, serving professional contractors, industrial and resale clients with a diverse customer base and product offering of industrial grade tools, supplies, safety products and related accessories and parts.

$20.00/hr - $22.00/hr (actual pay will be based on skills and experience; discuss with recruiter)

Inside counter sales position, serving professional contractors, industrial and resale clients. Very diverse customer base and product offering of Industrial Grade Tools, Supplies, Safety products and related Accessories and parts.

Duties include serving walk‑in customers by consulting with them and finding the best products to meet their needs. Must use a computer to input orders, invoice customers, process payments, and research stock and pricing. Also restock the showroom, learn how to merchandise products using displays and signage, keep showroom pricing up to date, and call customers to advise when orders arrive or tools are ready for pickup.

Complete paperwork, close out a cash drawer daily, confirm all tickets in the computer, process credit cards, handle cash, and make change. Assist with filing and scanning documents as needed. With sufficient training, will handle inbound sales calls and emailed quote requests. Pull orders for customers at the counter, assist in the warehouse when short‑staffed, and clear completed repair jobs by pulling paperwork, staging repaired tools, and calling the customer for pickup.

Other duties as assigned.

• Must be computer literate, able to add, subtract, do basic math, and use a calculator.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, work on feet many hours a day, and navigate stairs.
• Experience in the industry is preferred but not required.
• Must be at least a High School or equivalent graduate and able to read and write clearly.
• Good communication skills are necessary.
• Neat and groomed appearance at work.
• Must possess mechanical aptitude.

• Willingness to pitch in and help whenever and wherever needed.
