B.Fos is a vibrant contemporary art gallery dedicated to celebrating colorful original artwork, creativity, and meaningful connections through art. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, inspiring space for collectors, visitors, and artists alike.
We are seeking a personable and motivated Part-Time Gallery Sales Associate to support daily gallery operations and provide an exceptional experience for our visitors. This position offers the opportunity to grow into a full-time role for the right candidate as the gallery continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and engage visitors, providing a warm and knowledgeable gallery experience
- Share information about the artist, artworks, and current community engagement
- Assist with art sales, client inquiries, and follow-up communications
- Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing gallery space
- Support special events and receptions
- Assist with inventory tracking and basic administrative tasks as needed
- Previous retail, sales, hospitality, or gallery experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Genuine interest in art, design, or creative industries, and social/digital marketing skills are a plus
- Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Basic computer and POS system proficiency
This role has the potential to evolve into a full-time position based on performance, availability, and gallery needs. The ideal candidate is excited about growing with the gallery and taking on increased responsibility over time.
