Research Scientist, Data Scientist
Location: New Orleans
The LSU Cancer Center is seeking a highly motivated Staff Scientist or Staff Scientist Sr. to join Dr. Hari Koul’s dynamic research team focused on uncovering the molecular mechanisms driving therapy resistance in prostate cancer, with particular emphasis on epigenetic regulation and dysregulated protein translation. The Staff Scientist will conduct research that integrates molecular biology, genomic, and proteomic approaches to identify novel therapeutic targets and pathways involved in castration‑resistant prostate cancer (CRPC).
Successful candidates should have a PhD, MD, or equivalent degree and must be able to work independently with high self‑motivation. A strong background in epigenetics, translational control, or molecular oncology with proven research experience demonstrated by publications in peer‑reviewed journals is highly desired.
