Location: New Orleans
The Quality Assurance (QA) and Compliance Manager develops and implements strategies to ensure products and services meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations, overseeing internal quality systems, audits, and inspections, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include developing compliance policies, managing audit schedules, investigating compliance issues, preparing for regulatory inspections, providing training, and reporting on quality metrics to senior management.
MajorResponsibilities
- Oversee internal and external audit programs, including supplier monitoring, to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure the organization adheres to all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, and keep quality systems updated to reflect changes in laws and industry standards.
- Investigate and address non-compliance issues.
- Prepare reports on quality metrics and compliance performance for senior management.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Leadership & Management:
Proven ability to lead and develop a team of professionals. - Regulatory Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of relevant quality systems and regulatory requirements within the specific industry. - Analytical
Skills:
Ability to analyze data and complex problems to make informed decisions. - Communication:
Strong communication skills to provide guidance, report on performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Process Improvement:
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies. - Problem-Solving:
Ability to investigate issues, develop recommendations, and implement action plans.
- Five years of BHH experience
- The By-Laws of the Corporation and as set forth in the Articles of Incorporation
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Deep knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
