This opportunity is available for a Quality Assurance Manager – Specialty Gas within our National Specialty Products team. The Quality Manager will ensure our Management System adheres to and satisfies ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 17034, and Linde’s internal requirements documented in the Linde Information Database (LiDAP). The role establishes, monitors, and reports Quality KPI trends and Continuous Improvement Initiatives, ensures all necessary training for plant employees, and maintains training records in the Linde Elevate training system.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure process excellence in operational quality.
  • Maintain the internal product and external customer non-conformance tracking system (LiDAP) and ensure incidents are managed to closure.
  • Drive improvement by formalizing and managing cross‑functional teams to address trending non‑conformance incidents using RCA, SPC and SQC to generate continuous improvement.
  • Direct site Quality Teams using 8D programs and Proficiency Testing to drive continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain effective quality and ISO management systems, and site quality process KPIs.
  • Drive change to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Work with the North American Technical Support Center to ensure product offerings and services meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Lead the ISO‑required Proficiency Testing on a yearly basis from internal and external customers.
  • Manage LG&E and customer relationships on the review of quality needs, goals and contract reviews.
  • Manage, review and approve Corrective Action Reports within LiDAP, including driving the overall process deliverables and approving action closure.
  • Drive and coach plant quality teams through investigations, process improvements and preventive and corrective actions.
  • Represent site quality system during regulatory, internal and third‑party/customer audits and inquiries.
  • Conduct and participate in local quality audits, interpret findings and manage corrective action responses.
  • Ensure network compliance with Process Change programs as outlined in LiDAP.
  • Develop, maintain and manage all facility SOPs applicable to the ISO programs.
  • Develop, maintain and facilitate applicable Quality Inspection Records.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What Makes You Great
  • 5‑year experience in a quality or quality systems role
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry or chemical engineering
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, 17025 and 17034
  • Internal Auditor training preferred
  • Statistical Analysis skills
  • Six Sigma Green or Black belt preferred
