QA TECHNICIAN

QA Technician – Diversified Foods and Seasonings, LLC – Madisonville, LA

As part of the DFS family, you’ll be a key member of our quality team, ensuring food safety, quality, and production efficiency.

• Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform on-site tests such as pH, temperature, and texture to verify quality during various production stages.
• Maintain accurate, detailed records of quality checks, test results, and any deviations from standards.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Ensure the workspace is always clean and meets GMP, HACCP, and SSOP standards.
• Complete additional duties as assigned to support smooth, efficient production.

• Experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in fast-paced conditions.
• Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends.
• Successful completion of a drug screen.
