This position is responsible for providing professional grooming services for dogs, utilizing knowledge of canine characteristics, grooming styles, and techniques.

• Minimum of 1-year grooming/styling experience with pets
• Comfortable working with dogs and cats
• Provide own grooming tools or be willing to purchase them
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of Paragon Level 1 & 2 training provided by Petsense
• Ability to read, write, and count accurately

• Operate all grooming tools and equipment
• Effective communication with customers
• Compassionate treatment of animals
• Attention to detail
• Lift and carry pets up to 50 pounds
• Work flexible hours including nights and weekends
• Stand and walk for long periods
• Work safely around pets and waste

• Indoor environment with moderate noise
• Exposure to wet conditions and pet waste
• Work shifts typically no less than 4 hours, potentially exceeding 8 hours
• Hard surfaces such as concrete and asphalt

• Move and transfer animals and equipment up to 50 pounds
• Stand and maintain position for extended periods
• Use grooming instruments effectively and safely
• Read, write, and complete documentation accurately
• Operate store equipment and communicate effectively
• Complete all required training successfully
