Job Overview
Under broad supervision from a collaborative Infectious Diseases () physician, incumbent will work independently or in collaboration with the to deliver high quality, efficient medical services to patients seeking care for sexually transmitted infections at the LSU – Crescent Care Sexual Health Center or other research sites and perform research–related activities such as recruitment, specimen collection, randomization, treatment, retention, documentation, monitoring and reporting.
Minimum QualificationsRequired
Education:
Master’s in Nursing;
Graduation from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
Discipline:
Nursing.
Certifications/Licenses
Required:
Valid license to practice advanced nursing in Louisiana; credentialed with all required entities prior to start date.
Minimum Years of
Experience:
2 years of certification as a nurse practitioner and clinical experience in infectious diseases, STDs, OB/GYN, or general medicine.
Preferred Education:
Also hold a Master’s degree in Nursing.
Preferred Experience:
1 year experience in the specialty in Infectious Diseases, STDs, OBGYN or general medicine.
