Job Overview
LPN PRN role at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. This position provides licensed practical nursing care on an as-needed basis to support patient care in the medical center.
Responsibilities- Provide licensed practical nursing care as needed, including assessment, monitoring, and treatment of patients.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and lifting.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and state credential requirements.
- Minimum of 1 year full‑time experience as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) preferred.
- Must be current with CPR certification.
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing and currently licensed to practice as an LPN in Louisiana.
- Membership in an LPN organization encouraged.
- Good physical health; able to stand for long periods, lift and transport patients, and demonstrate motor coordination and manual dexterity.
