Administrative & Outreach Intern (Unpaid – College Credit Available)

Bonfolk Giving Good (BGG) is a New Orleans–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing clean, new socks to individuals in need. Through partnerships with organizations nationwide, we help deliver warmth, comfort, and dignity to communities facing hardship.

We are seeking a motivated Administrative & Outreach Intern to support our team with research, community outreach, and event assistance. This is a great opportunity for students interested in nonprofit work, community engagement, marketing, or communications.

This is an unpaid internship
, but we are happy to work with universities to provide college credit

• Conduct research on potential nonprofit and corporate partners
• Assist with outreach and partnership communications
• Support volunteer coordination and assist at community events
• Assist with light social media curation and content organization

• Organized, reliable, and detail‑oriented
• Interested in nonprofit work and community impact
• Able to attend occasional local events in the New Orleans area

• Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
• Basic content editing or design skills

• Hands‑on experience working with a growing nonprofit organization
• Exposure to nonprofit operations, partnerships, and event coordination
• Opportunities to build a portfolio in community outreach and social media
• College credit (if applicable through your university)

New Orleans (some in-person events required)

Flexible, approximately 5–10 hours per week
