SVDP NOLA VISTA Project - Resource Navigation VISTA

The SVDP VISTA Project strengthens long‑term pathways out of poverty by expanding adult education, workforce development, community assistance systems, and organizational sustainability across Southeast Louisiana. VISTA members will build capacity by developing curricula and tools, improving referral and data systems, supporting outreach and partnerships, and creating infrastructure that enhances SVDP’s ability to serve low‑income residents.

• Strengthen systems that support coordinated resource navigation and community assistance efforts.
• Develop standardized intake processes, referral pathways, and parish‑level resource guides to improve access to services.
• Build data tracking tools to analyze assistance trends and identify service gaps.
• Create volunteer engagement resources and workflow tools that support sustainable assistance systems.
• Increase organizational capacity to connect low‑income residents to critical resources and reduce barriers to stability.
