Job Summary:

Main responsibility is daily production of feed and soybean meal and operation equipment associated with the feed mill and extrusion center. Manage traffic flow in receiving area. Unload grain and ingredient trucks. Oversee grain drying process. Sample Ingredients. Empty feed barrel. Maintain cleanliness of warehouse. Perform maintenance duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Work with the Lead operator to fulfill the hauling, preventive maintenance, maintenance and needs identified
· Operation of equipment associated with the feed mill and extrusion center
· Handle micro ingredients in tote and bagged form with forklift and by hand when necessary
· Oversee grain drying process
· Follow preventative maintenance schedule and perform maintenance duties as assigned
· Follow all mill housekeeping procedures
· Follow all OSHA safety regulations and procedures
· Perform other tasks as assigned

Backup:
· A trained designee will be appointed by management to cover for absences or vacancies; refer to Rembrandt Foods site-specific facility back-up matrix on file.

Required:

· Awareness and knowledge of surroundings in relation to climate, atmosphere and equipment
· Ability to work in high elevations
· Hand/Eye/Foot Coordination
· Attention to detail
· Public relation skills and phone etiquette
· Ability to read, understand and effectively communicate information through writing and speaking so others will understand
· Independent Self Starter/Team Player
· Mathematical

Skills:

Basic Arithmetic, count, add and subtract
· Computer Skills – Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet
· Moderate English: speaking, writing and reading for job and safety issues
· Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
· Essential function of the job: requires teamwork and developing strong relationships with co-workers
