First Shift 5AM to 1PM

• Identify proper welding wire and alloy used for the applicable base metal.
• Ability to change wire, rollers, tips, diffusers, nozzles and set proper tension on rollers.
• Ability to set proper welding parameters (voltage & wire speed).
• Demonstrate competency in GMAW techniques with solid wire on aluminum in the Flat, Horizontal & Vertical Fillet Positions.
• Demonstrate competency in post welding treatment - i.e., brushing, cleaning, straightening & weld quality.
• Pass Welding Performance Test (given on-site during interview process-Q.A. determination).
• Fast paced assembly style facility.
• Ability to handle several hundred small welds applied in a single shift.

• Must demonstrate the ability to safely lift to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
• Must have the ability to stand on hard surfaces while working.
• Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled temperatures.
• Commitment to participation in continuous improvement.

• Technical Training Desired with focus in Welding.
• Welding Certification, preferred.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
