** The Production Material Handler will

* * upport manufacturing by safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move material and complete required documentation in accordance with company procedures and guidelines.
*
* Job Responsibilities:

* The following duties are normal for this position.  These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive.  Other duties may be assigned and required.
**** Safely operate forklift to load and unload trailers and to move material as needed
* Ensure equipment is in safe, working order by completing daily inspection following checklist guidelines. Immediately reports concerns with equipment
* Complete preventative maintenance on equipment as required
* Complete documentation as necessary to support correct inventory levels
* Verify product prior to shipment to ensure correct product and quantity is shipped
* Report all incidents/near misses to Supervisor
* Follow and support Magna Body & Chassis Iowa’s and Magna’s operating principles
* Support efforts to achieve department and plant goals on Employee Opinion Survey
* Support plant safety initiatives and always works within safety guidelines

*** Ability to obtain forklift certification within first 30 days
* Attention to detail a must to complete paperwork accurately
