First Shift 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM

• Identify proper welding wire and alloy used for the applicable base metal.
• Change wire, rollers, tips, diffusers, nozzles and set proper tension on rollers.
• Set proper welding parameters (voltage & wire speed).
• Demonstrate competency in GMAW techniques with solid wire on aluminum in Flat, Horizontal & Vertical Fillet Positions.
• Demonstrate competency in post‑welding treatment—brushing, cleaning, straightening & weld quality.
• Pass Welding Performance Test (given on‑site during interview process – QA determination).
• Fast‑paced assembly style facility.
• Handle several hundred small welds applied in a single shift.

• Ability to safely lift to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
• Ability to stand on hard surfaces while working.
• Ability to work in non‑climate‑controlled temperatures.
• Commitment to participate in continuous improvement.

• Technical training in welding.
• Welding certification.
• Team‑based work environment aptitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
