Position Description
We are currently seeking experienced lumber and material handlers for our new location in Belle Chasse. An ideal candidate would have FORKLIFT experience (not a forklift-only position).
Duties/Responsibilities- Receive and stock incoming materials
- Complete delivery work orders
- Handle customer material request
- Load and unload materials on trucks
- Keep yard and warehouse clean and orderly
- Forklift experience
- Lumber yard experience (Preferred)
- Detail-oriented and thorough
- Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used daily
- Ability to interact with customers, coworkers and visitors at the store while remaining professional, polite and courteous
- Work as a team
- Have good communication skills
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures
