The Forklift Operator is responsible for moving materials around the warehouse, preparing them for shipping, assisting customers, and ensuring safety and efficiency in operations.

• Load and unload scrap metal materials and cargo
• Transfer materials between locations and manage debris
• Manually move and sort materials, prepare pallets for shipment
• Assist machine operators with signals when moving larger items
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Follow safety protocols and maintain logs
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Effective communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 5+ years of sit-down forklift experience
• OSHA/Safety certification preferred

Warehouse setting with exposure to weather, loud noise, mechanical parts, and physical demands such as lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, and working in confined spaces.
