Job Description
- The Project Manager II supports the Regulatory Filings organization by managing and coordinating regulatory filings to ensure timely, accurate, and professional delivery.
- This role provides regulatory analysis, project oversight, stakeholder communication, and expert support throughout the filing and litigation process.
- The position ensures compliance with jurisdictional requirements while maintaining strong internal client relationships and driving continuous process improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the electric utility industry.
- Demonstrated leadership and sound judgment skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- 5+ years of experience in the electric utility industry.
- Experience supporting regulatory filings and related processes.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Support the Regulatory Filings organization to meet internal client objectives through timely and accurate regulatory analysis and filings.
- Produce complete, accurate data, schedules, and witness support for regulatory filings.
- Escalate key issues and decisions to appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Provide proactive regulatory support and superior customer service to internal clients.
- Serve as project manager for regulatory filings within the assigned jurisdiction.
- Assist in overseeing filings from initiation through litigation, including processing RFIs and compliance filings.
- Establish and manage project schedules to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Provide expert written and oral testimony and support Client processes.
- Assist in communication with leadership and management regarding filing plans, objectives, assumptions, issues, and timelines.
- Travel as required to support regulatory meetings and coordination.
- Maintain documentation and controls over regulatory filing processes.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
- Support training and development of staff, ensuring cross-training and understanding of regulatory recovery mechanisms and xx cases.
