Location: New Orleans
Reporting to the Department Head of Surgery and the Associate Dean for Finance and Administration, the incumbent is responsible for managing all fiscal and administrative matters of the department in an independent manner.
The Business Manager maintains the fiscal integrity of the department, ensuring that all expenditures are within budgets and available funding sources. The incumbent educates faculty on funds management and implements and adheres to all relevant rules, regulations, and procedures related to the administrative and financial operation of the department.

- Required
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. - Minimum 5 years relevant professional level experience.
- Relevant professional level experience in a clinical practice setting is preferred.
- Master’s degree in a business-oriented discipline can substitute for 2 years of experience.
- Preferred Education:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. - 5 years progressively more responsible experience.
- Experience in a clinical practice setting.
