This job manages the Epic application team in collaboration with department leadership. The role oversees day-to-day team dynamics, work prioritization, quality, fiscal stewardship, and project strategy, managing all aspects of a project life cycle. The incumbent mentors and coaches in performance development and project management, makes decisions that influence the project at a large scale, serves as the central communication point, and manages direct reports involved in daily operations.
The role coordinates overall project needs with the vendor implementation manager and coordinator.

Education- Required:
High School diploma or equivalent - Preferred:
Additional degrees, business training experience, and/or certifications that combine to meet minimum qualifications - Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare or Business Administration or related field
- Required:
10 years related management or project leadership experience, including three years of supervision or management experience
- Computer skills and dexterity for data entry and information retrieval
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to present information clearly and professionally
- Proficient with Windows-style applications and role-specific software packages
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong project and team management skills
- Strong knowledge in healthcare billing
- Strong partnering, coaching, and mentoring skills
- Strong budget and schedule management skills with community engagement
- Problem solving and continuous improvement process skills; reviewing progress with Epic Leaders
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to lead large, complex system integration efforts or large software application
- Commitment to client service
- Ability to think clearly in complex, dynamic situations
- Negotiation skills with various parties toward mutually acceptable solutions
- Assistance skills for Application Coordinators in their respective areas
- Flexible schedule availability (nights, evenings, weekends, extended shifts)
- Domestic travel availability
