Regional Safety Manager - INDUSTRIAL Waste-Hydroblasting

The Regional Hazardous Waste Safety Manager (RHWSM) leads hazardous waste safety across multiple site locations in the Waste industry. The role focuses on compliance with federal, state, DOT, EPA, NIOSH, and OSHA regulations, promotes safety vigilance, and delivers training, inspections, and risk management to create hazard‑free workplaces.

• Develop and implement comprehensive hazardous waste management plans and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to hazardous waste management.
• Conduct regular）、 inspections of hazardous waste storage areas and work sites to identify and address potential safety hazards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to personnel involved in handling, storage, transportation, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Coordinate with external agencies—regulatory authorities and hazardous waste disposal repayment facilities—to ensure proper waste management practices.
• Monitor and evaluate hazardous waste management practices, procedures, and equipment to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct training sessions for employees to promote awareness and understanding of hazardous waste management protocols and best practices.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all hazardous waste management activities, including waste inventories, disposal manifests, and regulatory reports.
• Participate in emergency response activities and provide guidance on appropriate actions to mitigate risks associated with hazardous materials incidents.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related 행 hazardous waste management to ensure compliance and recommend improvements.
• Complete quarterly safety reviews and share findings with the RVP and associated management team, including incident data, investigations.jasper accident frequencies, and mitigation strategies.
• Manage, deliver, and track training safety sessions for preparedness (hazard communication, driver and fall protection, machine guarding, hearing protection, and personal protective equipment).
• Generate OSHA 300 reports for regional operations, ensure corporate roll‑up of data, and proper posting on an annual basis.
• Oversee MVR and regulatory/statutory filing protocols.
• Oversee the drug‑testing program, including regulated sample collection and chain‑of‑custody processing.
• Implement effective safety communication plans using various multi‑media methods.
• Actively participate in new‑hired, selection, onboarding, orientation, and training processes.
• Hold regional accountability in partnership with the RVP to shape and develop a high‑performance hazardous waste and safety culture.

• Attend and participate in corporation‑sponsored training courses as assigned.
• Keep up to date on current technology relevant to Waste Pro operations.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Supervisor.
