Student Intern, Maintenance

Job Description

Reports to the facility maintenance manager or designee. Responsible for the completion of a wide variety of tasks to include keeping assigned areas clean and orderly in compliance with government and management directives.

• Cleaning floors, bathrooms, outside area, and other duties as assigned in the building.
• Wash walls, windows, ceilings, woodwork, dust desks, bookshelves, cabinets, and other office furniture.
• Collect and dispose of all trash, litter, and other debris on grounds, streets, and parking lots. Sweep and clean exterior steps, entrances, landings, and sidewalks.
• Use basic cleaning compounds, waxes, and disinfectants as provided by supervision.

Must be reliable and willing to work evenings, holidays, and some weekends.

• Must be a completer and ready for work-based learning.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Qualified students will, at a minimum, have their student card.
• APPLICANT MUST BE A CURRENT JOB CORPS STUDENT*.
