Trash Technician

Overview

We are hiring immediately for a full time TRASH TECHNICIAN position.

Location:

LCMC Touro Infirmary - 1401 Foucher Street, New Orleans, LA 70115. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule:

Full-time; days and hours may vary. Must be able to work every other weekend. More details upon interview.

• Identify, transport, and dispose of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Perform cleaning functions as assigned; properly operate cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognize safety hazards and act accordingly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Pay Range: $11.50 per hour to $13.00 per hour.
