Description
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Perform day to day assignments via work orders and/or instructions from Foreman to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Perform corrective maintenance and preventative maintenance on all equipment related to the Building Maintenance Division to ensure the proper operation and extended operating life of such equipment.
Comply with established inventory, equipment distribution, equipment operation and maintenance procedures to ensure efficient, effective and safe operation of the department.
- Monitor and secure the safe keeping of building maintenance equipment and supplies and maintain warehouse in a clean and organized manner.
Notify Building Maintenance Foreman of equipment and facilities requiring repair or replacement to ensure a safe and effective workplace.
Interface building repairs and remodeling requirements in harmony with other internal functional departments as required to minimize disruption and maximize effectiveness.
Assist external service vendors and contractors as required in accordance with guidelines established by the MCCNO to minimize cost and ensure timely completion.
Adhere to policies regarding building and departmental procedures, equipment operation and safety requirements.

Skills and Abilities
- Ability to perform with minimal supervision.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
Technical school background in related field preferred. Four to six years related experience and/or training in a convention and/or large multi-purpose facility preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
