Janitor- Maintenance

Are you a meticulous and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in keeping spaces clean and organized? We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team at EXCEL Group. As a Janitor, you will play an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment for our employees, clients, and visitors.

• Perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure cleanliness and tidiness in various areas of the facility.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain a clean and hazard-free working environment.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas, ensuring high hygiene standards.
• Empty trash bins and replace liners, disposing of waste in accordance with proper procedures.
• Wipe down and disinfect surfaces, including desks, countertops, and door handles.
• Dust and clean windowsills, ledges, and other surfaces to prevent the buildup of dirt and dust.
• Assist with setting up meeting rooms, events, and conferences by arranging furniture and equipment.
• Monitor and maintain janitorial supplies, notifying management when restocking is necessary.
• Identify and report maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to safety protocols while performing cleaning duties, using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a coordinated approach to facility maintenance.

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles is a preferred.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ability to use cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and cleaning chemicals.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical capability to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing cleaning schedules.
