The New Orleans office seeks a Litigation Associate with 3+ years of experience to join the Logistics, Energy, and Manufacturing Litigation Group. The work is active, diverse, and spans both federal and state court matters nationwide.
This role is ideal for an attorney who is academically strong, skilled in analysis and writing, and eager to take on meaningful responsibility.
Key Responsibilities- Work on complex litigation matters including:
- Energy and environmental litigation (strongly preferred)
- Business litigation
- Complex tort and product liability matters
- Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery
- Handle depositions, discovery management, and motion practice
- Collaborate with partners and associates across offices
- Manage matters with attention to detail, strategic judgment, and strong communication
- 3+ years of litigation experience
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills
- Practical experience with:
- Depositions
- Discovery
- Motion practice
- Background in energy or environmental litigation preferred
- Experience in business litigation, torts, products liability, or insurance coverage is a significant plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be barred in Louisiana (required)
