ERP .NET Developer – Direct Hire

Summary

This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications supporting core business systems, including a modern Epicor ERP platform. As part of a collaborative IT team, the ERP Developer will work on system customization, integrations, and process improvements using Microsoft and Epicor tools. This position is highly hands‑on and requires strong programming capabilities in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ERP customizations, including dashboards, BAQs, and screen modifications.
• Lead development and maintenance of internal applications such as quoting tools and configurators.
• Analyze and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and departments to support business system enhancements.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and document software-related issues in coordination with technical staff.
• Perform system upgrades, enhancements, and software optimizations.
• Maintain clear and up-to-date system documentation.
• Train end users on newly developed or modified applications.
• Assess and improve existing business system processes and integration capabilities.

Required Skills

• 2-5+ years of hands‑on experience in software development and ERP systems.
• Proficient in  and/or C#.NET, SQL, and SSRS.
• Experience working with ERPs highly preferred, but not required (Ideally Epicor/Kinetic, Infor, Syteline, Prophet 21, JD Edwards, or Acumatica).
• Skilled in developing BAQs, Crystal Reports, dashboards, and system customizations.
• Background in manufacturing environments or interfacing with Autodesk products is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non‑technical staff.
• Self‑motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Desired:
  Experience integrating Epicor ERP with other systems and tools.
