About

The Role

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director, Human Resources Business Partner. This role will act as a consultant to leadership on human resource-related issues, driving HR initiatives aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate is proactive, people-oriented, and skilled in balancing employee needs with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders to align HR strategy with business objectives.
  • Provide HR guidance on topics such as organizational development, performance management, succession planning, employee engagement, and retention.
  • Analyze HR metrics and use data to inform people strategies.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Collaborate with centers of excellence (e.g., talent acquisition, learning & development, compensation) to support business units.
  • Support change management initiatives and HR projects.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus).
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience; at least 3 years’ experience in an industrial services business, ideally energy services.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and consultative skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Key Nice-To-Haves
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification.
  • Experience supporting distributed or remote teams.
