TALENT ACQUISITION RECRUITER
LOCATION:
Port Arthur, TX
CONTRACT, 6 MONTHS+
PAY RATE: $26.00 - $33.00/HR.
Work Schedule:
5-10's, Monday to Friday, subject to change
Currently seeking Talent Acquisition Recruiters to support Venture Global's Plaquemines LNG Project in Port Sulphur, LA.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:- Recruits, sources, screens candidates, and performs preliminary interviews
- Coordinates interviews with appropriate hiring manager/administrative assistants to select qualified candidates
- Manages assigned employment requisitions to include but not limited to reviewing editing, and final approval of the completed requisition
- Tracks and reports data on staffing plan processes using computer software programs that may include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software databases
- Assists in building and managing Employment Staffing Plan by entering information related to employment and hiring requirements
- Builds and updates job descriptions based on project and scope of work
- Coordinates and conducts re-deployment initiatives (proactive communication with employees prior to anticipated end date)
- Conducts operational and administrative portions of the hiring process (background checks, drug screen, health screen, I9 compliance, E-Verify compliance, employment paperwork, site-specific requirements)
- Other duties as assigned

- Effective use of communication and collaboration skills for working in a team or individually
- Ability to plan, make decisions, and manage priorities/tasks
- Technical skills with standard software applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- HS Equivalent required
- Knowledge of company employment processes and federal/state employment law
- Ability to lead others and delegate work
- Ability to plan and make decisions
- Ability to manage people and priorities/tasks
- Be able to resolve conflict and problems
- Technical skills with standard software applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Excellent people skills including collaboration, communication, presentation, and team-building skills
- High level of customer service
