The iconic Waldorf Astoria property in New Orleans, The Roosevelt, is seeking a Full-Time Front Office Supervisor to join the team!
The Front Office Supervisor provides leadership and support to the Front Desk team to ensure efficient operations and exceptional guest service during assigned shifts. This role oversees daily front desk activities, assists with guest needs, and ensures compliance with brand standards and hotel policies.
What will I be doing?
• Supervise and support Front Desk team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Provide clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback to Guest Service Agents.
• Deliver exceptional guest service by greeting guests, assisting with check-in/check-out, and resolving concerns promptly.
• Handle guest issues, emergencies, and operational challenges using sound judgment and professionalism.
• Support onboarding and training of new team members and reinforce service standards.
• Maintain communication with departments such as Housekeeping, Reservations, and Sales to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Monitor room assignments, reservations, and guest profiles to meet preferences and maximize guest satisfaction.
• Promote loyalty programs and hotel services while ensuring brand standards are consistently met.
• Conduct shift briefings, manage handovers, and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Ensure front desk systems, equipment, and work areas are organized and functioning properly.
• Follow all hotel policies related to safety, cash handling, and financial procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support hotel operations.
