Night Audit is a vital role within the hotel function, working overnight hours (11 pm–7 am). The role requires self‑motivation, discipline, and organization. The Night Auditor welcomes guests, processes and reconciles daily receipts, and prepares guest bills.

• Perform guest check‑in and check‑out.
• Respond to guest needs and requests.
• Secure payment, verify, and adjust bills as needed.
• Handle accounting of money, receipts, guest accounts, and credit through the FD computer system and complete required reports to ensure company funds are secure.
• Close out the day for both front‑desk and food & beverage computer systems.
• Summarize night operations and communicate with necessary departments.
• Ensure rollover from one business day to the next.
