Seasonal Pool Attendant position at the iconic Waldorf Astoria property in New Orleans.

Responsibilities- Provide a high level of guest service by engaging with guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner, anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests.
- Monitor pool area conditions, including water cleanliness, temperature, and overall safety, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain constant vigilance to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests using the pool facilities.
- Respond calmly and effectively to guest concerns, incidents, or changing operational needs, communicating clearly with both guests and team members.
- Ensure pool furniture, towels, and amenities are clean, organized, and replenished as needed.
- Open and close the pool area according to established procedures, ensuring the space is guest‑ready at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, surrounding areas, and storage spaces throughout the shift.
- Assist guests with general pool‑related inquiries and provide guidance on pool rules and safety expectations.
- Report any malfunctioning equipment, safety concerns, or maintenance issues promptly and follow through as needed.
- Ensure all job duties are performed using proper safety techniques to maintain a safe environment for both guests and team members.
- Support other departments when appropriate and assist with additional duties as assigned by management.
- Perform other reasonable tasks and special projects as directed by management.
