The Psychometrist plays a vital role in supporting high-quality psychological and neuropsychological assessment services at Mindful Paths. This position is responsible for administering standardized tests, accurately scoring and documenting results, and ensuring a professional and supportive testing environment for patients of all ages. The Psychometrist also assists with administrative tasks, collaborates with clinical staff, and supports ongoing quality assurance efforts across locations.

• Administer standardized neuropsychological and psychological tests for pediatric and adult patients.
• Create a calm and supportive testing environment to optimize patient performance.
• Travel between Plymouth and North Reading offices as needed.

• Score, format, and organize testing results based on standardized procedures.
• Document behavioral observations and maintain accurate patient testing records.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards.

• Assist with scheduling and rescheduling appointments.
• Prepare testing materials and batteries.
• Support data entry and manage patient files.
• Participate in meetings, training, and administrative projects.

• Assist with onboarding and training new psychometrists.
• Provide guidance on testing protocols.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve workflows.

• Follow standardized procedures for reliable and valid test administration.
• Engage in ongoing training to enhance accuracy.

• Build rapport with patients and respond to behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with licensed clinicians.
• Use clinical judgment to inform next assessment steps.

• Maintain clean and organized testing spaces.
• Restock and manage testing inventories.

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to maintain detailed records.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Shared Point and EHR systems.
• Comfortable learning new systems.
• Works well independently and collaboratively.
• Adaptable to workflow changes.

• Understanding of HIPAA regulations.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant settings.
• Experience with neuropsychological assessments preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
