Overview
Pointe Coupee General Hospital has the following position available:
Position Available:
Physical Therapist Assistant
- Associate degree from a Physical Therapist Assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
- Current unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license in State of Louisiana.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.
- Ability to meet physical demands of a clinical environment, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, and assisting patients with therapeutic activities.
- Visual, auditory, cognitive, and emotional ability to recognize changes in a patient condition and provide safe treatment.
- Awareness of potential exposure to communicable diseases in a healthcare setting.
- Full-time or Part-time;
Monday - Friday. - Clinic hours as required to meet the needs of the clinic. Flexibility a must.
