Location: Lutcher
Description
The Laundry worker will wash and dry linen and residents' clothes. He/She will ensure all clean linen is returned to the linen storage area as quickly as possible. He/She will promptly return residents' clothes to the owners, properly identify them, and report losses and damages of resident's laundry. He/She maintains an inventory of linens and laundry supplies.
Qualifications- High School diploma preferred.
- Previous experience preferable but not essential.
- Worker receives on-the-job training with supervision.
- Must have an understanding of standard procedures used in laundry services for patients and in caring for clothes, linens, equipment and supplies.
- Has an interest in learning, ability to cooperate and is willing to work under supervision.
- Must have the ability to work well with co-workers.
