Elayn Hunt Correctional Center is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Analyst to support the facility’s mission by managing the acquisition of goods and services outside the scope of the Office of State Procurement. In this pivotal role, you will ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective procurement processes that directly support the daily operations and long-term goals of the institution.

An ideal candidate should possess the following competencies:

Five years of experience in procurement, contracts or grants management, financial management, accounting, or auditing; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus two years of experience in procurement, contracts or grants management, financial management, accounting, or auditing; OR
A bachelor’s degree plus two years of experience in procurement, contracts or grants management, financial management, accounting, or auditing; OR
An advanced degree plus one year of experience in procurement, contracts or grants management, financial management, accounting, or auditing.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
Designation as a Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB), a Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO), or a National Institute of Governmental Purchasing Certified Procurement Professional (NIGP-CPP) will substitute for a maximum of one year of the required experience.
