this is a training class for a career in specialty clerical work for the police department; and related work as required.

this classification is being announced to establish a list of candidates interested in employment as an police technician trainee with the city of new orleans. Applicants' names will remain on the list of interested candidates for three (3) months from the date of application. Applicants who are still interested in the position after three (3) months must reapply.

this classification is in the minimal skill series; as such, this classification has no official minimum qualification requirements.non-competitive examination per civil service rule v, section 8.1 (a).
