Location: New Orleans
beginning level inspectional work assisting with the coordination of the city’s code enforcement activities associated with the interpretation, application and enforcement of municipal and other related codes dealing with zoning, land use, building, housing, dangerous buildings, inoperable vehicles, noise, litter, sanitation, weeds and other public nuisance code provisions. And related work as required.
examinationa written examination, weighted 100%. This is an original entrance examination.
qualifications- high school graduation or g.e.d. Equivalency diploma.
- either 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university, or one year of experience involving heavy public contact, general compliance, investigatory, or enforcement experience.
