Location: Bermuda
Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Deliver timely and accurate actuarial input that contributes to underwriting decision making and Company financial targets
- Be the guardian of the Technical Pricing Framework for Financial lines
- Ensure models meet the Reinsurance Pricing policy and standards in respect of technical pricing and rate monitoring
- Support and drive the model modernization effort within and across the Company, collaborating within the pricing and development teams to migrate to the strategic Technical Pricing infrastructure
- Qualified actuary with at least 6 years relevant industry experience with knowledge of Reinsurance pricing as an advantage
- Experience/Expertise in understanding, analyzing and writing financial lines business would be an asset
- Strong quantitative analytical and IT skills - particularly MS Excel, VBA and SQL experience desirable; data visualisation tools (MS Power BI or Qlik View) and programming (R or Python) would also be beneficial
